portraits
Turns out I'm not much of a fan of the environmental portrait, or at least taking them I mean. I didnt have time to take someone to an interesting environment to shoot in, but I took some at peoples' homes and these are the three I liked the most.

The Wish Project
I was really inspired by two particular pictures last week, the one of the business men with the "I'm desperate" sign and the picture of the two elderly men smiling and sitting next to eachother, with the writing that they have never met. I really liked the juxtaposition of the person's portrait to some piece of their thoughts. Thus I wanted to do a project similar to that.
Having just started this, I have already run into problems. I wanted this to be vague so it can be interpreted by people however they want. As what they wish for at the moment, for their specific future, or for all of humanity.
Different wording influences people, but the atmosphere where I ask is the biggest influence of all. Around lunch time I got all food related answers, on campus thoughts of school. But sofar it has been interesting. I hope this is the project I will continue for the remainder of the class.

Travel Street Photography
I was really busy this past week and never got around to shooting out on the streets, so instead I will show some street photography I shot during some of my trip to India. If you have any criticisms or comments I would love to hear what you have to say!

The first four photos were taken at the Sasquatch Music Festival in George, Washington, while the fifth photo was taken at Gas Works Park in Seattle. I was hidden from the subjects when I shot each photo and some were also taken at the decisive moment.
